Yikes!

Yikes!!!

Michelle is making a masterlist of ICSers who have blogs so I guess this is my cue to update my blog more than once every 6 or 7 months!!!

Well, this is my most recent layout. It is made with items you can find in the December ICS! Scribble Scrabble kit. The only things I added were the stitching from my sewing machine and I used a black Sharpie to do my journaling. I got the idea for my layout from one of Becky Fleck's December Page Maps. Let me tell ya, I LOVE those things! She comes up with some of the neatest ideas. Cooincedentally she is also running a contest with her December maps so I took the plunge and submitted this one. So keep your fingers crossed for me!

What a shock!

What a shock this morning! I woke up and there was that NASTY white stuff covering the ground!! The dogs didn't know what to think. Pepper & Gizzy went out and came right back in. Keely and Doodle thought it was great! (I always thought they were a little silly!) They were out there running around like maniacs having the times of their lives. Once they had enough they wanted to come in and they were covered with snow! They had ice and snow balls on their snouts from "plowing" through the snow.

I had a good time today with my friend Carrie! She brought her twin 1 year old boys over for a photoshoot. WHEW! I don't know how she does it. I was all worn out after 90 minutes! Isaac and Alex were absolutely adorable and I got some great shots (and some not so great ones). Once I go through all 114 (yes that is one hundred and fourteen!) I will post some of the fun ones here.

We are down to just 4 more days in the hunt for the new Design Team at ICS! There is some major talent putting in for the spots. It's going to be quite a job picking. I'm glad I don't have to do it all by myself.

Well...better let the dogs out one last time. I have a feeling it will be a quick trip since the last time I looked the temp was down to about 7. BRRRRRR!!!!

I am ready for SUMMER!!!!

My, oh, my...it's been just a little while since I've updated stuff here.

Things are crazy and hectic as always and now that it's Christmastime you know it's only going to get worse. On top of the holidays we are looking for a new Design Team over at Imagine, Create, Scrap! I'm always sad to see a term end but on the other hand I look forward to a new term and all the new faces and talent it brings.

I think the New Year is going to bring some great things to ICS! We will have our new team, it will be the second month for our KITS!! (yes, kits - this month's is Scribble Scrabble and next month's will feature Crate Avenue!!) We are kicking off a whole new challenge "system", I guess you could call it, and we will be doing TONS more cybercrops per the request of our members. I'll tell ya, it's rarely a dull moment over there.

Anyway, I probably should look into update this place a little bit more and see if I can get one of those cool scroll-y things that show my layouts.
